I wish there weren't, but it's just a fact of the forum that we all forget -especially those of us who have multiple threads and make 12,000 plus posts over 13 years. Newbies who complain but don't even start their own threads are not appreciated. Just a general rule for life that SHOULD be obvious: if you have to begin a comment by saying you don't want to offend and finish it with "just saying" you probably KNOW that you're talking out of your ass. So why say it? So many people seem to have no filter and no empathy. It's discouraging. Some of us spend a lot of time gathering pictures, making collages, etc. I don't beg for thanks, but always give it on the threads I follow. I don't make critical comments on other people's threads because I know the effort it takes to put a thread together. I would hope one either enjoys a thread or wanks elsewhere. If someone's going to be critical on any threads without contributing much else to the forum, I say, get lost.
