Indeed true. My wife also prefers a bralette over a bra.
They may not have as much support or pressing the breasts together (or up in case of a push-up), but they are much more comfortable to wear. And best of all, most of her bralettes are pretty thin and most with (see-through) lace ... very sexy with nipples always poking.
