I'm just curious, is there a minimum post threshold I've yet to hit or is there some other reason my posts take hours to appear, if they appear at all?

I know early on I was ignorantly posting identical content in two separate areas, but I stopped that a while ago. It's been 7 hours since I've attempted to post to a thread and someone else came in a couple hours ago and posted the same thing I tried to post. So now I'm thinking to myself if it's even worth the effort anymore if other people are able to post freely since chances are my post will be duplicated.

Also, no one has ever messaged me about posting infractions, I just noticed some of my previous posts deleted and eventually put 2 + 2 together. If I'm doing something wrong or if I'm on some sort of probation, it'd be nice to know so I can act accordingly.

I think this is a wonderful site and I'm trying to contribute, but I feel like the site doesn't want me to.
