Close would be a stretch
A couple years ago my current partner and I were in a pub on Maui.
She was feeling no pain by this point in the evening and had gone outside for a smoke.
She returned to our stools at the bar with a really good looking younger friend about 30 ish. The two girls were laughing and joking around and my partner introduced me to her new friend saying she was going party with us tonight. I said sure the more the merrier!
They were pretty touchy freely and we three danced together the girls really seemed to be hitting it off till the new girls friend showed up and said they had to leave. She argued with her for some time before her friend convinced her to go. Practically dragging her away. Not before she gave my girlfriend a pretty long hot wet kiss that got those around us cheering.
So to say “close” well we didn’t even get her back to the room, but still promising.
That year we travelled to Maui twice returning with stories for a number of threads in here.

Then COVID hit and we have sat around getting older and fatter ever since. Lol
Shame we were really on a roll - now we just have them.
