Agree--- a while back we had a similar discussion.
A lot of times during the promotion of a film you sometimes get a lot of hype about costume choice and nudity/exposure...all designed to sell seats.
And it usually follows a format--the star says one thing, the director says another. "Well, there was a body double on set, but we didn't use that footage...". Basically this allows the star a lot of wiggle room to claim one thing during promotion and another thing down the road. And the waters get so muddy that who knows what the real truth is...and this is by design.
So the star filmed her own scenes. But there was a body double on set. The double was filmed. But the footage wasn't used. There were alternate takes. And on and on.
