As stated by some on your link to the closed OCC thread, it appears to be a popular kink in the United States. The fetish is mostly black men on white women, white wives in particular where the hubby shares her. The root of this is the relatively recent racism that was so deeply rooted here. It does make it more Taboo for sex between black and white folks. It's going back to the slave days in antebellum South where blacks were held as slaves and white men felt threatened that the black men may take their women. They did everything to dehumanize them and make white women feel ashamed to be with them, to make them sub-human. Some rabid racists even referred them as animals and treated as such and had no problem lynching them for flirting with white women.
