Default Former Employee “interview”

When I was changing jobs about 10 years ago, there was a trainee about 20 yrs younger than me and we had kinda flirted a little in messages but I was very clear that nothing more could happen as she was a junior colleague and work frowned on that as I was a supervisor.

On my leaving night from that company, quite a few drinks were had and she told me she was sad that I was leaving and maybe she could interview for my new company. I was teasing and saying that based on her performance etc then yes she would probably squeeze in to the short list for any available jobs.

Then she leaned in to whisper in my ear “Well if I have to take my clothes off in the interview with you, can you just make sure it’s not a glass fronted room”

Needless to say I had to pick my jaw from the floor. She got an interview also, in a local hotel, as we were both in other relationships at the time!
