Default helping out

When I was in jr high and high school, I swam on the team at the Y, and we would compete a lot against other YCMA's. A lot of the other swimmer's moms would help out during practice and at meets. Quite often, they would stand at poolside and had the guys a towel as they got out of the water. I never paid much attention to it at the time.

when I was in my early 40's, I started helping out as an assitant coach for the boys teams at the YMCA. About an hour into the first practice. I noticed where all the moms were looking at when the swimmers got out of the water. I'm still helping out the swim team almost 20 years later. The moms still help out.
