Default wife's unexpected past

My wife who is Asian and in her late 40s told me a several years ago that when she was in her early 20s she had a boyfriend that she was really crazy for. Apparently this guy was a perfect match in bed and she just could not get enough. Whenever she was with him she just wanted to spend the whole time fucking. She told me about a few of the things they did, which didn't seem particularly wild but were exciting to hear nonetheless - how she would love to give him blow jobs when they drove on the highway, how he would fuck her in his office in the evening after his coworkers had left, etc.

Recently though, out of the blue she started telling me more about her ex-boyfriend and this time it really blew me away. Apparently he took her on a trip one time to this 'convention' where he revealed to her that he was a member of some kind of sex/love religion that practiced free love. I asked her what happened there and she said 'not much'. She explained that everyone was really 'normal' and respectful of her and that she didn't see much of 'the events'. When I pushed for more info she told me that her boyfriend introduced her to a girl around her age who was a member of the group and that the two ended up kissing and touching each other over top of their clothes in their hotel room that evening. I asked if she had a threesome with her boyfriend and the girl but she said no. After that she clammed up about it. She said that soon after she found out that her boyfriend was seeing another girl at the same time which was a complete shock and they ended up breaking up over it. She told me that she had never told anyone else about the experience and she felt relieved after telling me.

I'm not sure if she was 100% honest about the extent of her experience with her ex-boyfriend and this 'sex religion'. It's exciting to imagine what might have gone on and I'm keen to try to get her to open up about it more eventually.
