I saw something similar while I was shopping in a Target a few years back. A girl was wearing warmup pants with snaps, and her friends ripped them right off of her. They were from one of the local colleges, and probably a little drunk. Lots of laughing and screaming, but the girl was wearing running shorts underneath. That's really the purpose of those kind of pants. I doubt anyone wears just panties (or nothing) under them.
