The target market would include people they will see again regularly and forever - relatives, neighbours, parishoners, friends, childrens schoolmates and parents and (partner's) co-workers (not in the charity). Some male buyers might buy to leer at someone they know - undressed. Other men and women might criticize or body shame them.

Could I do this? I hope they had fun and increased their own body confidence. I say "Bravo" to them.

One that proposes that these are girls that are closet exhibitionists and enjoyed this first venture into baring themselves so much that they decide in the future to join other nude events - like maybe WNBR or a more revealing calendar or a full monty play. They may be doing it in honor of a friend or loved one, but they clearly enjoyed this opportunity to show off a bit. Hopefully they are more daring in the future.
Some facts after speculation/fantasy/hopes - from Glasgow Guardian "the official student newspaper of the University of Glasgow" glasgowguardian.co.uk/2021/12/03/bare-bums-calendar-on-sale-to-raise-money-for-anthony-nolan/

Earlier this month, the UofG [University of Glasgow] student volunteer group Glasgow Marrow released their fifth annual Bare Bums calendar and will donate all proceeds from the calendar sales to Anthony Nolan. As the UK’s largest stem cell register, the charity aims to save the lives of people with blood cancer by recruiting potential stem cell donors.
...
Lia Ritchie, the Co-Vice-President and Treasurer of Glasgow Marrow, told The Glasgow Guardian: “Our Bare Bums campaign has been a particularly effective way to raise awareness of Anthony Nolan as, with over 140 participants this year, it is a fun and memorable way to get a large number of people involved in fundraising for such an important cause. Lia added that “the naked calendar has made quite a name for itself amongst Glasgow University students with increasing amounts of sports clubs and members eager to participate.”
