A judge ordered it so I don't think she had any legal recourse. Mental health back then was more fucked up than it is now. I think something did come of it where they changed their policies but not for certain. I have talked with some older women who worked there at the time but no one in that ward. They just said you need to keep patients safe. It sounds like it was a fucked up situation.
