We went there earlier this year and had a couple of hours on the beach. We approached from the east along the beach from Marseillan Plage. The first part of the beach you encounter from this direction is a "standard" nudist beach with most people I surmise coming along from the textile resort and just enjoying the sun in the nude.

You then encounter the more "libertine" area where couples are openly indulging in sexual activity. I was only there briefly but saw several couples fingering/wanking each other and some oral. People were openly watching the couples and nobody seemed to mind. I didn't see any full on sex but that was just a matter of my poor timing I'm sure.

I understand that it gets wilder later in the day.

Further along again towards the naturist complex the beach was again "standard" naturist with couples and families.

So, yes, I can confirm that you can go there and watch sexual activities with no objections from any of the consenting adults on that area of the beach. I only wish I'd had longer to enjoy it!
