I"m not surprised the young women did not heed the warnings about being exposed. Or maybe they did, but not the way you expected-
Back in my college days, my GF was in a sorority and lived in the house off campus. The house parking lot was in back, and also in the back of the house on the first floor was an older communal shower room. One evening when we returned to the house my GF told me to park in a specific row facing the back of the house, and proceeded to point out the shower room and the half open window. While it was a bit steamy in the room, with the darkness outside, the lights inside and the open window we could clearly see several naked "sisters" showering. My GF told me that everyone knew of the view from the parking lot- but when the upstairs showers were full or just "because", some of the girls were happy using the older first floor showers.
The lot was used by visitors, boyfriends, delivery drivers, etc., and apparently these young women were willing, even eager, to be exposed "accidentally" to anyone and everyone who visited the lot. Again, the delightful principle of PD, plausible deniability, rears its lovely head- much like for the young women you delighted in seeing.
