I remember going to the DMV a few months after 9/11. Because it was in the same building as the FBI office, everyone had to pass through a metal detector, and some people were being searched (you know, in case some guy was hiding a tactical nuke under his jacket). There were two good looking women ahead of me in line, and one leaned over and whispered rather nervously to the other; "I'm not wearing any underwear."
