Default Dangerous Curves TV Show

First off apologies for the dreadful quality of these images. My video source is from an old VCR(!) tape. I don't have a cleaner copy.

The show is "Dangerous Curves" and ran on CBS for two seasons in 1992 and 1993. It was part of the networks "Crimetime After Primetime" offering, an umbrella title for a group of late-night crime-investigation shows.

I guess the idea was to copy the "wheel show" format that NBC had with shows like "Columbo", "McMillian & Wife, and "McCloud" in the early 70's. Only this was targeted for late nights and contained racy material.

This was the era where bra and panties could be first be openly shown on a TV show. TV shows had been slowly working up to this since the 60's, and the dam finally broke in the late 80's.

There were a host of shows on cable and late night TV that took advantage of this. This was an era where "sexiness" was defined by attractive women in their undies or tight mini dresses, heels and hose, showing a lot of skin. Later, this definition would devolve in to showing cleavage on a 105 pound starved actress with a 44D rack job...or a supposedly nude girl in bed under the sheets...

Anyway, red head Lise Cutter plays an investigator at a security firm and comes across a shadowy character that could either be a foe or ally.

He pulls a gun on her at a hotel meet and has her strip off her dress to prove she's not wearing a wearing a wire. After she does so, he sticks her with a knock out drug and then leaves. A great scene!
