I believe that participants are aware of the possibility of nude pictures emerging, but trying to avoid the extremes does not seem that unreasonable.
It seems to me that we are the ones who have eaten all the wnbr cake lately due to attitudes like this. If you treat women like this, dont be surprised the only ones that remain are the ones not caring beting treated that way, i.e., porn/OF.

I know a few people who have done WNBR. They deny any erotic thrill and I believe them, I think I know them well enough. They are not exhibitionists in the sense of flashers. There is a thrill in being naked with others in public at a demo - but for most it is not erotic.
The things which put off many women:
1 - being mobbed by (clothed) "leering" photographers coming up so close to their naked vulnerable bodies, often simply focussing on their genitals.
2 - photos being edited/cropped to accentuate female sexual parts close-up and then ending up on porn sites like this. Many of the women are pleased to see themselves on non-porn sites but not porn sites. They don't think of themselves as strippers or porn models.
We might think that many women are naieve to imagine that 1 and 2 won't happen. But see the stories of how the number of naked women has declined over the years, including "whatever happened to (eg Barclays Librarian)" - maybe they learned the hard way. Also see the many stories on this site of inconsistent wives and girlfriends indifferent/happy to show off one day but prudish the next - women eh!.
Are they naieve, inconsistent, inscrutable? - probably.
But unreasonable? - I don't have a
right to see anyone naked. But I am grateful when I get a chance to see!
Sites like this are killing the goose that lays the golden eggs - but we love it and can't get enough!
