I think anyone who says they have not had any fails is lying. I have had similar situations to the OP with my own wife. She put on so weight for a bit after our second kid and still is not as trim as she was when we met. Her boobs sag some but I still find her sexy as can be. She is a little insecure about it though. She will sometimes make comments about her being fat or something along those lines and it is a total mood killer for me. Especially if I complement her and she replies with a derogatory remark about herself. This has happened several times though no one time stands out as story worthy to me.
Something kind of funny though I guess. My ex GF wanted to try role play stuff. I really am not into role play and think it is kind of silly/childish but I want to please my partner so I thought I would surprise her and give her a try. She used to make comments about the ROTC cadets being hot in their uniforms and she would make comments about me in my turnouts (fire fighter gear). There is no way I would use my turnouts for anything in the bedroom. They have been exposed to the most disgusting shit you can imagine and I have seen the worst in them. So... I decided to put on a set of old Army BDU's, a kevlar military helmet, body armor, a web set with ammo magazines and gear on it along with a pistol, combat boots, and a GI style AR-15 rifle (yes I have all that stuff sitting around). She said she was going to get into something fun after dinner which meant lingerie... I told her ok but I needed to check the horses and I would be up in a few. I got my costume on and walked into the bedroom. As soon as she saw me she asked what the fuck I was doing and then started laughing. That was mood killer number one. Then she said to get rid of the weapons because she did not find them sexy... mood killer number two. I was done for the night
She did not last long. She was not cut out for ranch life. She had no interest in learning to work the ranch. She freaked out over the wild critters and bugs on a ranch. She hated guns and the fact that I never go anywhere except in the fire department, post office, and planes without one. She always worried about me as a firefighter and would constantly watch the news and if she heard of something dangerous that I was probably called out to she would call non stop sometimes even calling the station.
