Yeah...the old "plausible deniability" thing.
My first wife went through such a phase. She'd started out in nudism very shy and self-conscious; so it was very hard to socialize with other nudists because she'd always cover up and "hide" around them. But we still managed to become friends with another couple; and my wife grew comfortable being naked around them. And that "released" something in her. The first indication of this was her decision to shave completely bald (which she said was just because it felt "cleaner.") The second was her decision, at the resort, to sit in front of the pool instead of the back of the pool area (which she said was to "get more sun".) But then I would "catch her" with her legs opened facing the pool (which she said she was unaware of and "just being comfortable"). And more than once she would have entire conversations with our friends and her legs opened in front of them the entire time.
This phase culminated with her wearing her sarong on the way to the resort or back home; and "dropping it" on the way. She would say it "slipped off"; but there was no way she didn't know her tits were showing when we once pulled up to a gas station, or one night when she walked out into the driveaway completely naked after returning from the resort.
What had happened is that after a lifetime of hiding her body, getting comfortable releasing it triggered an exhibitionist impulse, choosing to make all her body parts available for all to see in "great detail"; all the while being able to justify it as "just being a nudist." It didn't last very long; once she was able to experiment and satisfy her impulse, she moved on. But it was a very interesting time for me lol!
