London is a very difficult ride to cover and it's always a dilemma where to be to get the best shots. Mostly it comes down to luck. But those taking part really seemed to be enjoying themselves this year. Official number of riders is given as 1013 but there were definitely more than that. In a perfect world, there would be just the one start point and the whole ride would be directed round the course by a police escort. What I did notice is that there seems to be less and less people getting flags, banners or wearing body paint relating to what this event is all about.
