There have been just a little over 100 pictures from Bay to Breakers posted to Flickr in the past 24 hours. I'm not talking about pictures with nudity -- I mean pictures of any kind. I know Flickr usage has declined over time, but that's a shocking dropoff. Even with the changes to Flickr's (still unclear) nudity policy, you'd think people would be uploading their PG-rated pics. But nope.

Which begs the question, where are people uploading their high-quality photos? The default answer always seems to be social media sites, and that's probably true for casual snappers who use mobile phones to take pictures, but there's no way amateur photographers are spending $1k on a camera and them uploading them to a site that shrinks their pics and strip away most of that quality.
