There are differences between AANR-style resorts, adult/couples' venues and swingers' venues. The adult/couples' is somewhere between AANR and swingers, in varying degrees depending on where you go.

My wife and I go to both an AANR and adult/couples' venue. The AANR resort has more amenities and people; but it also has more "rules." So you have to kinda "watch yourself" and "keep it PG." It's not an issue for us; we just go along with the "rules."

It was actually my wife's idea to try a smaller adult/couples' venue. She wanted to try something "different." And it was definitely "different."
The only two rules were: "no open sexual activity" and "don't be a nuisance." I found out on the second day that they're weren't any rules about erections; as we met and actually hung out with one dude with his GF (I've mentioned him in another post) who was quite a bit erect. My wife (and the other couples) did not take exception to it at all (he would have definitely gotten thrown out of an AANR resort). I personally don't walk around with an erection; but it's good to know that I don't have to hide my morning wood there, should it occur.

Surprisingly, my wife actually embraced the situation. Once she realized that she didn't have to worry about "posture etiquette" there, she loosened up and got comfortable lounging around with her legs open - as did some of the other women. Cookies were on "full display" that week end; which is something that wouldn't go over very well at our "other resort."

My wife enjoyed herself there so much that we go there regularly now. We're not swingers, but we do enjoy the freedom of being able to be totally open around other people. But the "adult" venue is definitely not for everyone.
