That's a great scene. Partially because the girl isn't the typical blonde bombshell you'd expect to see lose her clothes in a Hollywood movie of the time. And partially because the guy doing the stripping is Proconsul Claudius Marcus, from the original Star Trek episode; Bread and Circuses.
