Sounds like you're implying this isn't believable? It sounds plenty feasible to me. For many years lots of cells didn't even have passcodes/lock features. For example, when I was about 17 I worked a summer job at deli owned by a husband and wife. One time, the husband accidentally left his phone at work. My coworker found it, looked through the pictures, and quickly found tons of dirty pics of the wife. He didn't tell me about it until a week later....the bastard!
