I know exactly what you mean. Those sightings are like finding gold. Where this comes from, is from our DNA. When I was in college, I had a professor explain it to our class saying it is part of being male. Men are visual. But he nailed it and drove it home by telling a story. He said he and another professor were talking about this subject and the other professor said, "I know it is crazy but it is so bad for me I once caught myself trying to look up a manikin skirt in the store.".
