This ridiculous thing was actually designed. It was one of Hitler's pet projects, and it was called The Ratte (the Landkreuzer P.1000). It weighed 1000 tons, and the war would have been over long before it could have crept it's way to the front lines. You think der fuhrer was overcompensating for something?
