My wife was sexually active while we dated but we did not go all the way.

This story goes back decades to when Birth Control was illegal.

We dated on and off while in college but both were working two or three jobs in the summer, and school and work in the winter. In addition we lived about 45 minutes apart so getting together required hours of free time.

The summer she turned 18 she was working at a hospital. A couple of girls a few years older planned a trip to Bermuda. She went along not knowing they were both on BC and planning to hook up with some guys. They met three British sailors stationed on the island and assigned a two bedroom govt cottage. One girl got upset and a guy drove her back to the hotel.

Most of the story comes from the other girl who died in the 80s from MS. Before she died she came to our summer house and told me the story while my wife and her husband were on the beach with the kids. My wife and her sailor went to a bedroom while the second couple stayed on a couch. At some point my future wife came out of the bedroom naked running for the bathroom with a towel between her legs. As you might guess, she lost her virginity to the sailor. The next day she checked out of the hotel and changed her flight home for a week.

I didn't hear from her for a few weeks and my calls were not returned. Her sister just told me she wasn't feeling well - for weeks. The girl who told me the story told me she was afraid she might have gotten pregnant or a Venereal Disease. The girls who went with her got her to a doctor who took care of girls working at the hospital who might have gotten in trouble. Unfortunately, there was a price she would have to pay.

He had an apartment across from the hospital with a makeshift exam room. He would give the girls a cleansing or D&C that functioned as an abortion or flushing. He would then get them on the pill. He would have them come back monthly for a checkup. The checkups lead to drinks in his apartment and the girls briefing him on their sex lives. He would introduce them to different position and sex acts. Many of the checkups were just social for drinks as most of the girls were underage for alcohol. He would introduce them to other BC devices such as diaphragms and IUD all of which had to be fitted manually by him. BC remain illegal for years in our state.

He remained her OB-GYN for years until he suddenly relocated out of state amid rumors.

The girl who told me the story said that she was also a 'patient' of the same doctor for several years. She guesstimated she and my wife probably had sex in some form or other at least 15 times a year.
