I do have my own steadily growing stash, I tend to use them alongside older pics…and my imagination.
I’ve even tried software recovery programmes on her hard drives but barring a couple of boring family photos, and one tantalising file which I can’t preview (and don’t know if it’s worth shelling out £80 for the full software if the free version can’t produce a preview) I’ve not found much. My guess is she deleted anything interesting before putting them on the HD in the first place.

I’ve thought about uploading some pics but I think that would be too much of an abuse of trust. I’m still holding out hope someone, someday who went to Uni with her in the 90s (Bournemouth) will show up with some pics.
The only other avenue I can think of is to ask her parents for all her old photos…but short of a convoluted reason I can’t think of an excuse for asking for them which doesn’t end up involving the missus knowing.
