If the particular album you wish to view says private, then that is what it is. It won't matter if you have a pass or not. If such a thing is important to you it is probably best you do not purchase a pass.
You can message the uploader and see if they wish to share the album with you. If they don't then that is their right as the person who took the time to upload it.
