Have you checked the guidance here on how to download albums as .zips or in its entirety as Google Takeout

Once they are in your local storage you can upload to OCC.

If it seems too tedious to upload them one at a time, then sort the best into folders - according to some commonalities. After which, zip them up (I like the free 7zip program). Individuallly upload one or a few representative photos from the album (to give people a preview which will encourage people to download) and also that zip file.
