This is about as low key as it gets but we’re staying at a friend’s condo. It has a small outdoor patio with an 8ft wall separating it from the backyard of a house. There’s a pool house adjacent with an outdoor shower spigot off the side a few feet away from the wall. I get up earlier than everyone else and sit outside and read and have coffee. This morning I could hear someone swimming over there. A cellphone rang and I heard them get out of the pool and answer. It was a woman, and from the voice and dialogue I’d estimate middle aged. It was a quick conversation. “Yeah I was just swimming… I’m all done now. Just gotta shower and get dressed… ok see you soon.”
I hear her move toward the shower spigot so she’s only about fifteen feet away from me. And I swear I hear the sound of a wet bathing suit hitting the concrete right before the shower turned on. The water ran for a few minutes. The whole time I’m racking my brain to figure out a logical, acceptable reason for me to hop up and take a peek. Of course there was none.
I saw nothing. Like I said. As low key as it gets. Still a massive thrill.
