We lived in an apartment years ago that had businesses below then a u shaped set of apartments four floors up. The windows in the back of the units opened up to the rooftop of the businesses but you weren’t meant to go out there as it was just vents and stuff. We were in the corner on one side and a young Asian girl was directly kitty corner so our bedroom and hall window peered into her kitchen.
