Here is what I remembered of the story.

The couple with their daughter sailed to some off chart island and were abducted by the natives for some sort of fertility rituals. They were given a choice for the wife or daughter to participate in the festival. The big breasted and beautiful wife *volunteered for the ritual, and was taken away to be prepared for the next day.

When the husband and the daughter were allowed to join the tribe, they saw the wife was devilished and naked, lead out to be put on display in front of the tribe. Her pubic hair was gone.
