There is no reaction. The scene ends right there and doesn't really matter to the plot. I actually watched the whole movie (no subtitles so I had no idea what was going on) just to see if there was any fallout. He ended up in some sort of trial or board review for an unrelated issue. The woman was at the trial but wasn't like, the judge in an ironic twist.
