I don't think of nude "clubs" and nude "resorts" as the same thing. Clubs are established places that are typically not near beaches - like Pine Tree Associates, or MAHESO, etc. They have annual membership fees and are selective about who they allow as members. They frown, BIG TIME, on overt sexual activity, or hanky panky between members.
A nude resort is typically a clothing optional place that people have a destination vacation at. There is no membership required. An example would be Hedonism, which not only encourage people to hook up, but are often booked by lifestylers looking to hook up.
