It might help if you could remember when and where you saw the film... was it a TV movie or did you see it in a Cinema? The fact that you remember the ladies as being Irish is interesting and given there are a comparitively small number of films being made in Ireland, especially World War II when Ireland was neutral may narrow down the search.
Anymore detail, however small, might prompt a memory in someone else.
