The only problem that I have with posting such beautiful women is that we classify them by the color of their skin. I can understand a particular attraction to coloring e.g. blonde, brunette and red head, still I can't help but think that classifying these women as ebony or dark or [insert euphemism] is a reflection of unresolved racism in our culture(s).

I do not suggest that the party posting this or similar threads is bigoted. I am asserting that a level of racism remains endemic to our culture. Further, that the reflexive way in which these women are characterized exposes a lingering climate of unexamined racism in our cultures. For my own part, if and when I post (no I haven't yet) I will post beautiful women without regard to their coloring.

Clearly reference to coloring of hair and eyes suggests that coloring is very distinctive and a normal reference point for indentification of individuals, but these women are identified as a group not as individuals. Also, it is quite they are rarely posted in other groups of equally attractive women e.g. random mixes. So I believe that there is a significant difference between distinguishing on hair color and skin color.
Personally I have practiced to not describe and not refer to people by the coloring of their skin. I found the effort very difficult in the beginning. If you try it, you may be surprised how difficult it can be to notice other attributes when you have first noticed coloring. The effort it took to actually see people beyond their coloring is what convinced me that this reference system is a product of lingering bigotry.

Finally, I am not accusing, condemning or attacking anyone. I am trying to contribute to a more free and open culture. I hope that those who read this are able to find that message in my post.

Just my opinion. Thanks.

Oh yeah, sorry for waxing philosophic in a recreational forum.
