We were already packed and ready to go when my husband pulled in the driveway. He took a quick shower, and we went on our way. We were heading to my parents hours, about 3.5 hours away.
About halfway through the trip, we stopped and grabbed some take out Mexican for dinner.
By time we arrived at my parents, it was around 9pm. We visited for about 20 minutes, and then retired down to the finished basement for the night.
Around midnight, the Mexican food started kicking my ass. Finally, I decided to go upstairs to try and find some pepto bismol or something.
On my way to the kitchen, I saw my parents door cracked and light from the tv flashing in the other wise pitch black hallway... Cool, they were still up, I'll ask what they got for my stomach.
As I approached their room I started hearing "the noises!"
I don't know why, its just human nature I guess, I tipped toed down the hallway, and had a peek inside their room.
Sure enough, they were going at it. As gross as it sounds, I watched them.
I was like a deer in headlights. After the show ended, I tipped toed down stairs and suffered the rest of the night, serves me right I guess.
