Wow this is great work! Very unique for many reasons:
1. A different ethnicity for an enf protagonist
2. Very different setting, it's fictiony/fantasy while still being in the real world, something that's difficult to write without being cheesy, which you avoided.
3. The main character has flaws and perks regarding her appearance, not just a "perfect 10".
It was a really good story, and a quick read too. Thank you.
