Tables turned here.
At our new house, I have to use the main floor shower because the other one needs repair. But I shower with the door open to keep the humidity down.
With the door open and glass shower doors, the bathroom/shower is in line-of-sight of the street because the front door to the house is all glass. With it being dark outside and the bathroom light on inside, I wonder who could see me walking by or from the two houses across the street as I am in the shower before the glass fogs up and then drying off and walking back towards the downstairs!
I don't do this for attention or to show off or anything; rather I noticed it by accident and figured it had already been two weeks of it without realizing it, so why change my habits now? I don't know what I would change anyway--I don't want to keep the door closed because of humidity, and I am not going to put a curtain over the front door because it would have to be an awkward size/mount and it would make that part of the house decor look silly.
But if I could get my wife to shower and dry off with the bathroom door open to keep the humidity down, that would be great for several reasons!
(Yes, we have a bathroom exhaust fan, but they are never that great except one house we lived in, but it sounded like we were behind and airplane.)
