Fact.
That reminds me of one of my wife's early social nudist experiences. She didn't really didn't want to be seen outright naked that day; but she didn't want to stay completely covered either. So she opted to wear her sarong; but tied loosely (as in the woman in the pic below). I tried to explain to her that if she was trying to stay "low-key"; the "crotch flashing effect" the open sarong was going to provide would probably have the opposite effect. But as usual she ignored me...
And as expected people were cranking their necks trying to get a peak as she walked around. Because it contrasted so much with everyone else just being naked, people were naturally curious about what was "going on there." She eventually realized that the best way - as counter-intuitive as it may seem - to actually be "low-key" was to just be naked and blend in with the rest of the crowd.
