We were in College so we had seen each other out and chatted a bit and seemed to hit it off. We were both seeing other people so we avoided going further. One day she calls me out of the blue to go out for 25 cent beers. There was a bar that had a special and they went up 25 cents every half hour. Needless to say we got pretty hammered and went back to my dorm room to get something to eat. We started making out and ended up naked and banging away.
After that for about three weeks we continued to see our other "steadies" behind their backs. My GF at the time had already graduated so she would see me on weekends. Her BF was still in school and she would see him much more. More often than not during that time my now wife was getting laid at night by her BF and would show up in the morning at my door and bang me. After the 3rd week we cut the others loose and have been together ever since.
