My girlfriend before my wife were spending a month in Portugal and stayed at a beach hotel in Sagres for a few nights, which was a converted house in the sands and had about 8 different types of bedrooms. It was owned and run by a couple, probably nearly 20 years older than we were. (We were 27 and 22 and they were around 40.) The last night we were there we had an MMFF with them We didn't attempt to leverage it in anyway for anything special and paid our entire bill the next morning when we left. Though they did treat us to a breakfast we had in our room, separate from the other guests. I suppose they were our "landlords".
