One thing you mentioned about "The energy in the room felt like it exploded" when your wife showed up reminded me of something. It's a totally different situation, but once at a nudist resort I got into a hot tub with a bunch of guys while my wife went to the bathroom. No one was saying a word. When my wife arrived she bent over using the handrails to enter the tub and her very large, long breasts hung down as she got into the tub. It was like someone set off a cherry bomb; suddenly every single guy started talking/joking, etc.
