As others have said, this is a well known scam.

DON'T PAY

Sophos, one of the leading anti virus companies, describe how it's done here (remove spaces around the dot)
nakedsecurity . sophos.com/2019/12/17/dont-fall-for-this-porn-scam-even-if-your-passwords-in-the-subject/

BUT, BUT, BUT ... The subject line is my password.
- if you use the same username (ie email address) and password on different sites and one of the sites gets hacked then they know which email to send it to and a password to try. Even seeing an old password is convincing and scary - even if you don't use the same password on all sites.

Remember the John Lennon song "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey" - lots of people surf for prawns and whack off. This is like the cold reading technique of fake mediums "The spirits are telling me that Janet is missing John". Is there someone called "John" in the hall"?

TIP: anything that triggers your primal emotions of fear, anger, lust or greed is probably an attempt to manipulate you eg as a scam or chain message.

Before acting on any such message, copy and paste a phrase from it into a search engine and you'll probably find this is an old scam.

You can also tape over the camera on laptops just in case ...
