You are absoutely right, I cannot understand what is demeaning about it and given your (possibly humorously intended) demeaning response to me, I don't think you CAN explain it.
Look, BJs are a common sex act. Most men want one and, based on my experience, most women give them. In our culture we apparently like to imagine and/or fantasize about it rather than see it. Why this is true is not clear, except possibly for the puritanical origins of North American society. Our peers even deem the sight of a nipple unacceptable when it is on a female's breast. But naked bodies and sex are an intrinsic part of who we are, and elsewhere this is accepted. Here... I'm including a photo of an actress from New Zealand, Kerry Fox. She gives a BJ in a widely distributed film... not some porn flick. I don't think it diminished her reputation at all.
