as long as you have the corrct codecs installed, the player you wish to use, SHOULD be able to find the codec.
heres how to make windows media player, you default player.
1, open up media player ( just open any media player video, and then stop the clip)
2, click tools and then click options.
3,on tabs at the top, click file types.
4,then click select all.
5,then click apply.
thats should do the trick.
hope this helps you out.
If you still have problem's, theres a tool you can use for finding out what codec you need to view a video clip. It will give you all the info you need, for codec's, and also direct you to a page, where you can download the particular codec needed. If you need this program, i'll try and find a link.
regards
peeper.
