Remember that this forum has a wide variety of members from all over the world, of various ages, from various backgrounds and with a wide variety of interests.
For example I'm from the UK, where pro wresting was never as big as it is in the US and I'd say it hasn't really been in the general public's awareness since the '90s (though you can still find fans here). I did know what WWE stood for, but my parents who are in their 60s probably wouldn't. I'd say it's 50/50 if my friends and colleagues would recognise the acronym. Everyone I know probably remembers WWF though!
