As a woman commenting, I think you have to break your question down. Is she embarrassed by her body (low self image), uncomfortable with the viewer judging (feels unappreciated), lacks confidence (uncertain if the viewer will give validation), considers exhibitions immoral or socially inappropriate, etc.
The best gift a man can give himself is building her confidence & making her feel secure & attractive. IMO
