My wife and I used to do that. She would take a seat in a shopping center food court, and I would arrive a few minutes later, take a different seat so I could watch people react. It was especially fun to watch a guy or two, take a seat so they could stare.
Watching their faces as she slowly spread her legs for a few seconds at a time. They knew it was intentional.
